The housing market is still hot, despite the recent interest rates rise.

 

But how long does it take to actually sell your house?

 

Post Office Money decided to commission the Centre for Economics and Business Research (Cebr) to look at average selling times across a selection of UK towns and cities.

 

And they came up with some fascinating results.

 

In total they examines 23 conurbations in Britain and the average selling period was 96 days.

 

But two cities had the quickest turnaround of all – and they were both Scottish.
