The Asda Income Tracker released in early May which found that the average UK household had £187 a week of discretionary income in April 2015, up by £17 a week on the same month a year before, was covered by the Financial Times, the Yorkshire Post, the Star and the Express. Sam Alderson, author of the report, was interviewed on BBC Radio 4’s You and Your’s programme.
The YouGov and Cebr HEAT which revealed a rise in consumer confidence this month after the result of the general election was announced was covered in the Evening Standard, Reuters, This is Money, Daily Mail and Vedimosti.

Ahead of the election the Daily Telegraph quoted Cebr’s research cautioning against a 50pc top rate of income tax.
Immediately after the election Bloomberg covered Cebr’s estimate that London house prices would drop 3.6pc in 2015.
Comments by Economist Nina Skero on the Eurozone’s economy were quoted by Reuters.
Nina also discussed recent inflation data with the BBC and was quoted on the same topic by the Daily Telegraph and the Daily Mail.
Cebr’s estimate that a bank holiday rail strike would cost the UK economy £600m and comments by Cebr Director Oliver Hogan suggesting that the construction and retail sectors would be hardest hit were quoted by City AM and Time (x2).
The BBC interviewed Senior Economist Danae Kyriakopoulou ahead of the Queen’s speech asking her about the UK productivity puzzle.
Danae was also quoted on public finances and Britain’s job-rich but tax-poor recovery in the Times and spoke to Russia TV about the Eurozone economic outlook.
Vicky Pryce, Cebr’s Chief Economic Adviser wrote a piece for the BBC Online recommending Greece consider more even more compromise with the other member states of the Eurozone.
