Cebr is pleased to present the following report to the Land of Opportunity campaign – www.landofopportunity.co.uk – on the non-domiciled tax regime in the UK.
The non-domiciled tax regime has been in the spotlight since the previous Chancellor of the Exchequer, Jeremy Hunt MP, announced that the scheme would be phased out in the March 2024 Spring Budget. Following this, Labour delivered its first Budget, which moved the UK toward a residency-based tax schedule, further increasing the tax burden on non-domiciled taxpayers.
