Cebr is grateful to pollsters Com Res for hosting a launch party for The Inequality Paradox, the latest book by Cebr founder and Deputy Chairman Douglas McWilliams at their offices in Westminster.

 

With the political crisis playing out in Parliament just across the road and demonstrators lining the street, the party was a welcome distraction. One leading opposition peer turned up with his sleeping bag at the ready; the Rt Hon Nick Gibb MP, Minister for Schools, who had planned to appear at first thought he would not be able to come and sent his speech, which Douglas read out from his mobile phone, and then managed to blag a few minutes grace from the Chief Whip and appeared to say some very heartfelt words off the cuff. A wide range of attendees from Com Res, Cebr and elsewhere enjoyed a great evening.
