Aldershot has been named the unlikely leadership capital of the UK in a new ranking of towns and cities.

 

Meanwhile London is only ninth in the list of leadership hotspots, according to Domino’s Pizza Group, which commissioned Cebr to produce the report.

 

The ranking looks at the seniority of the workforce living in each location, as well as considering their level of educational attainment and pay packages.

 

This has then been compared to the place’s economic importance. Domino’s said this shows that some of the most leader-dense cities have untapped potential.

 

Nina Skero, head of macroeconomics at Cebr, commented: “The findings clearly illustrate the unequal geographic distribution of leadership across the UK. With some of the larger, more economically important cities in the UK having much lower levels of leadership talent than their smaller counterparts, it’s obvious there is more to be done to promote leadership skills across the board.”
